Ken sent me pictures and I posted -see above. I'll also add that Ford Basic Part Numbers would carry a new prefix (or suffix) when released as the old part became obsolete. Thus, a 9N or 2N prefix would be changed to an '8N' prefix when the part was released as a new change. For example, the generator, 9N-10000-C became the 2N-1000 model, then the 8N-10000 for the 8N tractor as significant changes were made. I emphasize again, that though his weights are marked 8N-700, there's no question that they are NOT Ford made/marked parts. 700 is the Ford Tractor basic part number for the PTO assembly, and no 8N prefix exist, only a 9N and an NAA.
