My adjusting arm is frozen. Attempts to free it on the tractor isn't working. Therefore, I need to remove it. Should be an easy enough job, right? Well, not for me it isn't. It took forever to get the nut off the bolt where the adjuster is connected to the lifting arms; even using a wire brush on an open toe grinder. I got the nut off with some effort without messing up the threads but I can not get that "bolt"; I don't know the correct term, to come out. I sprayed with penetrating oil, tapped, use a punch on the end of the bolt, reversed the bolt and tapped, heated with a propane torch and tapped, more oil and tapped and it isn't bulging. So, before I get a larger hammer; is there a method to removing it? I use caution because I don't like breaking things out of ignorance.
