Yes, I took the grease fitting out and have sprayed a penetrating lubricate in that hole. I see it dripping out the bottom at the fork. I didn't know that rust could weld something that tight. I went through a bad time after Mum died where I didn't take care of things; now I am paying the price so to speak. If I can't free it, I am going to remove the lower lift arm and take everything over to my brother-in-law that has a full shop (he restores muscle cars; mainly Cameros) and has a wide range of tools and equipment to work with. He may even have a propane torch. Yes, I only lightly tapped to help the penetration oil to get in the nooks and crannies. I know how easy it is to crack cast iron. Thanks for the info.
