I see my post in MANUALS that had the parts manual scans is there but the photos are not -thanks to Photophucket. However, prior to the Hundred Series Models when the R-O-R seat became standard issue, the seat instructions stated to remove your existing pan seat and fasten it to the R-O-R frame. The original 8N Pan Seat was the first to flip up -the 9N and 2N seat did not. The 8N seat had a rubber bumper on the bottom where it contacted the seat spring, supposedly to soften the ride some. They were prone to wear and tear and fall off so many 8Ns don't still have them. Ford Tractor parts supplier Just8ns carries them new so I don't know if this will help you but here is the LINK. Meanwhile, I will try to find my original R-O-R Parts manual and rescan. It may take a day or three...
