I did not know that the steering column cap was spring loaded. I have several three jaw pullers, the nut on the wheel shaft is an acorn type so Iíll go get a nut that will provide a flat surface for the puller. I can apply some heat and use that BFH and see what happens..The reason for all this is I was installing a set of new tires and wheels and was using a skid steer to lift the tires and wheels and caught the steering wheel with the corner of the bucket and some of the black plastic stuff got broke off (My Bad), I needed a new steering wheel anyway. I replaced both hat rims, tires, tubes and had them filled with something they call BioBalest.. I should never have to buy another rear tire hopefully. Thanks for the help, Richard
