It's been more than 10 years since I've noticed any problem with ethanol E10 blended fuel. It seemed to take a couple years to get the additives right, but once they did, any problems I was having went away, and have not come back. I do run my tractors and lawnmower most of the year. There may be a period in the coldest months when everything sits for a few weeks, but generally everything gets run about once a month. If I am working on something, and the carb is going to sit a few weeks or more, I make sure to completely drain it, dry it out, and wrap in plastic. That seems to keep it from growing strange colored deposits of goo I've seen in the past. Regular E10 pump gas works just fine for me in all the tractors, chainsaws, lawnmower, and generator.
