The debate goes on about ethanol blended gasoline. I just fired up my 8N after setting for a year! The gas looked like a urine specimen but was no problem. The gas was an ethanol bend put in last June. Why do you think you need ethanol free gas? I was getting gas at the local Mobil diesel stop yesterday and spotted a pump that said ethanol-free gas. It was 89 Octane, and exactly $1 more per gallon than the standard 87 10% blend. Nope, not needed, not for me, sorry. Your tractor - your $$$. Back in the 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's they sold premium gas as, ready, ETHYL! Guess what it was? FWIW, I don't believe in any 'stabilizer' products either, sorry Bruce. How do you gage if it is dong anything?
