I mentio the Z-Rod 20-50 only because of my experience. My 8N had an engine rebuild before I purchased it. It pins the oil pressure gauge on start up and at higher RPM's. When working and hot I still have 20 pounds at idle. I live in a very cold climate in the winter and think the synthetic, on start up, gets to the engine quicker. I use only synthetics in my vehicles and small engines. Again, experience tells me that my engines, differentials and transmissions have less wear because of the synthetic oils. Dave
