One last suggestion on this topic. Keep your 32" hat rims and center discs no matter which way you decide to go. If you still go with a 32" rim, you will need the centers, otherwise you are dead in the water. ALSO, if you go with the 8 x 32 blank rim from MILLER TIRE, you may be able to salvage the loops off your rotted hat rims to weld onto the new blanks. I'd keep the 32" hats too -you never know if someday they will be restored. The key to going with the blanks is finding someone to pull old loops of hat rims, and put the loops on the blanks correctly if you are not capable of doing it. All that work is not going to be cheap, maybe a bit if you do it yourself. Even if you find someone who can salvage the hats it won't be cheap. There are a few guys who have done this project, a few articles in N-News on it, and one or two who have made their own loops. The original Ford rear rims, before the hat rims, were 32", 6-LOOP type, with cast iron loops riveted on. The hat rims had loops welded on.
