I think anything with double the horsepower will seem to use a lot more fuel than the N-tractors, even just put-putting around. Mine had a foot throttle which is not exactly a fuel saving device when it sounds so good accelerating. I put more fuel in my tank. That solved the sputtering problem. The tank was low enough I think the pump was just sucking air coming down that hill. I'm not sure what is wrong with my fuel cap. It should already be a vented cap. Might be clogged or stuck. I may just drill a new 1/16" hole in it to make sure it's vented.
