I have the vinyl adhesive ones on my 8N. I have a set of water soluble transfers for the Donaldson Air Cleaner for my early 9N but I haven't reached that point in my restoration. I can't say but would prefer the water style as they were what was originally used. The vinyl adhesive style have held up well -going on 15 years now. The hood FORD script decals are not an exact match to the actual FORD logo stamped on the hood. You can't tell 5 feet away and have to look real close to see the glitch. The vinyl is easy to work with when you use window cleaner. Apply decal, spray over with the cleaner, then you can slide the decal around and in place without mucking it up.
