FWIW - JUST8Ns also sells a key switch just like the original dash mounted one used on the early '39-'40 9N's. The starter button and key switch don't care whether if 6V or 12V. The important thing is to have them and everything else wired correctly. Just to be clear, you do know the difference between a starter solenoid and the starter button switch, right? They are two different animals. The starter motor on all 9N and 2N tractors was a 1-wire unit that did NOT use a solenoid. I'm just curious though as to if you still have your original 9N generator and voltage regulator. If so, I'm buying -email is open.
