1958 861 Powermaster, 172 cubic inch Red Tiger 4 cylinder gas engine. 6 volt. Tried starting fluid in carb and in spark plug ports. Nada. Engine was running fine when I shut it down a few months ago to clean, repaint and restore. I simply removed the spark plug wires and wrapped the distributor. Coil is new. Plugs are new and gapped correctly. Firing order is 1243.

I rechecked the points earlier today. They are new/clean. No burn marks and flush. Gap is .025. I was thinking it was a timing issue so I checked no 1 cylinder and its compression stroke is pretty much right on the #1 distributor cycle.
