The differential drain plug is an NPT type with a 9/16" square head. These often have been overlooked and never have been removed thus extremely hard to loosen. If a standard 9/16" Open End Wrench won't budge it, use a Crescent wrench and a cheater bar (pipe). Avoid using pliers, channel locks, and vise grips as you don't want to booger it up by rounding the square head off. When re-assembling, put a light dab of Anti-Seize on the plug threads. Your OEM 8N Operator's Manual has the lube chart -here.
