I've kept the 64, 4000 for about 15 years as a retirement project because it is the last year for the prior 4 cylinder model and has all of the bells and whistles. Aside from the SOS, it also has PS and dual (yes, dual) remotes.
The sheet metal is done and I put my NOS PA rims on it along with 6 new 6 ply tires and tubes. All of the peripheral work is done except for the PS control valve still needing overhaul. I've set up a set of duals with 2 more matching 6 ply tires and tubes for fun but have not installed. I also have a full set of heavy front and rear weights prepped and painted for it.
Still planned is a complete overhaul of the SOS and installation of my very low hour 192 engine. The engine is a NG (high compression) unit, that I converted to gasoline
and should produce about 65 PTO HP.
It will be a toy, not a user.
Just need to find the motivation.
