I hope it is OK if I jump in here. I know it is improper to hijack a thread but this one was talking about paint.

The wheels on the inside are pretty dang rusty; the outside are not that bad. So since I have the wheels off anyway, I thought I would try to address the rust and then paint while I wait on parts to get down to me.

So I was looking at a few places today. I didn't see anything I thought would work at Rural King. Tractor supply has a paint; Rust-Oleum Farm Implement Spray Paint, Ford Gray. Is that anyways close to the proper grey colour on an 49 8N? I may have to look on the internet and order but if there is a local venue it makes it easier.

I also have a spray gun but no pressure regulator or dryer for the compressor. I am not sure if the old compressor can provide the flow rate needed. I have never used a spray gun in my life.
