Joe-
FYI:
Your s/n 101758 is a 1942 9N, NOT a 2N. 9N's were built at the Rouge until February 10, 1942 at Ford. The US War Board declared ALL US manufacturing be delegated only to the war effort and domestic car, truck, and tractor production was halted. Contrary to what a lot of folks believe, every 2N tractor was not a warhorse model. Ford tractor production did not resume until mid-October, 1942 and that is when the warhorse models were built, and then only about 10,000 units. By early 1943, April most likely, Ford was allowed to resume standard production of the 2N tractor with electrics and rubber wheels. If you want a warhorse to restore, see Chris Eby's AD here.
