Once I loosen the bolts and start to lift the top cover, will there be any other issues to deal with, such as unhooking the shift lever (?) or whatever.

I'm hoping that it will be as simple as lifting it (just) high enough to reach in and loosen the nut, pull out the old starter switch, re-insert the new one and carefully tighten up the nut, put on a new gasket and move on...

Please advise if you know of any follow-up details besides removing bolts and lifting the cover.
