You can drill and tap the center of the big drain plug 1/8" pipe and install a Hex Socket pipe plug, When installed the plug will be flush in the big drain plug so it won't get knocked off if you bottom out on high ground, The main reason I did this to my 8n is that I can drain off any water from the hydraulic/tranny oil,from condensation the longer the tractor sits the more water will separate from the oil and lay at the bottom where you can drain it off. It works pretty good. ( plus makes draining all the oil a lot neater)
