All the emblems were blue, FORD never used the brushed aluminum with black lettering style. Those were always aftermarket pieces made by probably a hundred vendors now. If FORD had made a change like that, the parts books would show up with a suffix like A-2. The war restrictions on metals would have made aluminum in much higher demand than chrome. The 2N was not even released until October, 1942 and then only about 10,000-12,000 units built. By April, 1943 Ford was ramping up fo a standard tractor as before. The amount of chrome used one the badges is very minimal.
