If your tractor has a 5-Speed transmission, it isn't an 8N, 1950 or otherwise. 8N's only had a 4-speed. Don't rely on nose cone emblems fo ID'g your tractor - means nothing and some are missing. Finally, you are not looking on the correct place for the serial number. You are looking at the differential rear center housing CASTING part number cast on the part. Rather than speculate on what model you have, here is a chart to help identify the Hundred Series Models and help you ID your make and model:
