The only inherent original inherent problem of the Ford 600, which was thought to be "vapor lock, was "drebis in fuel tank, plugging the screen in the tank. That has been cleared by cleaning out drebis.
I don't have a overheat problem as the motor was overhauled and pressure cleaned.
The only thing I am currently trying to do is reduce any possibility of future vapor lock as the Ford 600 has a inherent problem in the way the muffler is just below the gas tank. There is a heat shield between the muffler and gas tank to help in that heat tranfer. The other inherent problem is that the fuel line passes thru the manifold area.
