The wagner front end loader I removed from our naa had been modified. It was shortened and and bolted to the bottom of the transmission, over time it cracked the housing at the area of the 4 bolt holes in the bottom of the bell housing, with a crack extending up the side of the housing about 2 1/2". The area of the 4 bolt holes cracked so bad they fell out. I cleaned them up, V-ed Out the edges of everything including the holes they came out of and welded them back in, so far it looks as if I've saved the transmission, I drilled a hole at the end of the crack, v-ed it out and welded up the crack. I plan to split the tractor at a later date and weld every thing from the inside. Does anyone with more experience on something like this have any advice on anything else I should do. The front end loader I rebuilt extends back and bolts to the rear axle,so it shouldn't stress the transmission housing. Thanks and God Bless, Beth and Allen.
