To spend money for an item that does not fit, sucks. I have found that installing a wheel center before mounting works better. It is easier to get the wheel to "shape" to the center. A loaded tire added to any distortion makes it more difficult.
For fluid loaded tires I bought a stainless steel pump that can remove fluid or install fluid. It is slow but cheaper than having a tire shop do it.
Any pictures to share of your projects?
