I come here when I find any problem, with either of my N`s...
Beins as we have very good combined experience amoungst us...
It`s mowing season again and I`ve been busy doing just that too...
Just these last two times out I`ve found after about an hour running time my 50 model will "bog" badly and not get the RPMs quick as it did when I started...
IF a tree bogs it down or if I brake to turn around it seems to "lose power"...
Yesterday, I was thinking the fuel tank was getting low, so I hauled bugger back to the barn to get gas, I checked & filled it - BUT!
It still had a couple gallons in it, so that was NOT the problem...
Then today I paid attention to when it started doing it, and found 45 minutes to an hour, is when it started acting up...
It was very dirty and I got to thinking the governor linkage/spring might be clogged and not working correctly so I pressure washed her and she looks good! :)
I`ve not been back out mowing since, so I dunno??
I did pull the cap off the distributor to look at points/rotor and didn`t find anything awry...
I`m thankful this didn`t give a problem early in gtting started mowing, and waited until the last of it...
Yes! She could stand a tune up probably,
Dennis
