It takes me usually only a few moments to fire up my 8N tractor, since I went through carburetor and distributor, but this morning I was having problems with a "loose nut" behind the steering wheel.
I pushed in the clutch, made sure gear was in neutral, gave it a one-ce and two-se then pulled out the choke ... Nada.
Grumbling curmudgeonly under my breath, this time, I turned ON the ignition switch, and gave it another go ... Nada.
Thinking "Well, now I've gone and flooded it, might as well go inside and make some coffee, while "flood" clears out.
Back at the tractor, fortifyed with a hot jolt of Java Juice, verified that the ignition switch was on, gear shift was in neutral, pushed in the clutch and gave it another whirl ... Nada.
Sipping my coffee, my brilliant brain awakened, and I turned the fuel on. She started right up! :-)
My conclusion: When you're dealing with a "loose nut" behind the steering wheel, tractors start much easie after coffee lols :-)
