Sometimes it's the little things that get lost or forgotten. Best system I've found is to get a check list of everything to do before starting up. That means a look-see all around for obvious things like chaf in the radiator/grille; broken lamps; loose wires; oil fluids; coolant; tires; and more. Then the last thing to do before mounting up is to open the Sediment Bulb Valve Two Full Turns. Once in the saddle, engage clutch, set in NEUTRAL, and turn key ON. Confucius say, "don't sweat the petty stuff". I say, "don't pet the sweaty stuff"... ; > )
