Good morning,
I found a 1952 8N in a field. It had been setting for over 15 years. Im trying to identify these hydraulic controls on the tractor. Ive already pulled the hood and tank off cleaned gas tank. The motor was seized, I removed the head, and with a bit of elbow grease I was able to free it up. Drained all the fluids, I was surprised to see that the hydraulic was still holding the rear lifting forks up the hole time. Drained the hydraulics and the transmission and removed the center smaller drain plug.
I am a bit concerned, there was quit a bit of water in the crank case, I drained it and filled the crankcase with diesel to displace any left over water. It only shows 648 hours on the tractor. Ive been replacing the wiring, once that is done I want to do a compression check to see where my starting point is.

Ford 8N - ID Aux Hydraulics -

Thanks again
