Ain't No kind of patch as good as the real thing - solder.
Repairs on gas tanks, fuel lines, radiators all last better when you solder them.
But I fear soldering is becoming a lost skill. Guys would rather use some kind of glue or pucky than even TRY their hand at soldering.
I have a partial gallon of muriatic acid here that I use for cleaning the metal before soldering. It does wonders. But it at Home Depot or Menards. They use it for cleaning brick. Works wonders for cleaning calcium out of toilet bowls too.
