Agree with Tim. Get the manuals, The oil pan is the front extension of the frame!
You must remove the hood (gas tank) and the front axle in order to remove the oil pan. Note, the oil pan is very heavy. If it were mine, I would remove the hood and gas tank, the front axle and radiator and then split the tractor and put the engine on a stand. Much easier to remove the oil pan and much much easier to reinstall it.
