Transmission disassembly

So I had my first post a week ago asking for opinions on how far to go on a restore (was running fine but wanted to clean it up some). I appreciate everyone's opinions as I was looking for different views.
Fast forward a week, my OCD got the best of me and I now have it completely tore down! Motor is set aside and will be torn down soon, all cases are split and the only thing left is rear pinion assembly and the transmission (pump, lift cover ect are removed)
My question is this...with average mechanical ability, all manuals and access to any specialty tools I may need, how difficult would the tranny disassembly and reassembly be? Thinking I may leave the pinion in, removing it seems more concerning. Everything else has gone well and I am confident I can reassemble what I have done so far
I guess the goal here is to see if I can completely disassemble a tractor and make it run again, hopefully close to new condition.
Again, interested in everyone's opinions
Thanks
