The #1 cause of overheating coolant is overfilling, OR under filling. In the current issue of The N-News, Bruce(VA) has an HOW-TO article on the radiator, coolant, and thermostat. Do you have a thermostat correctly installed?
The steering drag links are different lengths on each side. Did you get them reversed upon reinstalling? Get out your Essential Manuals and read more.
