The TAURUS TAILLIGHT was used in all FORD Tractor lighting kits from '39 thru '49. Tractors never came from the Rouge and Highland Park factories with lights -always a dealer supplied optional accessory. They were also used on FERGUSON TE/TO Tractors '46- ?. STIMSONITE was the glass manufacturer. TAURUS was the lamp manufacture. Ferguson lamps were chrome plated bezels. ALL TAURIUS tails had the name stamped on the top of housing. I have a rare BRASS housing, made when and for whom is unknown. It could be to avoid lawsuit from Ford, the Ferguson used the Stimsonite, maybe. Ferguson used a set of 9N blueprints to manufacture his TE20/TO20 from. Many Ferguson parts carry over the same Ford part numbers minus the Ford prefix and 9N code. Don't sweat the petty stuff (or, don't pet the sweaty stuff!) Got six TAURUS lights, choose one and be done with it.
