53 Jubilee hydraulic

I have a 53 Ford Jubilee and I am having problems with my hydraulics. Slow to respond even when warm--chatters when lifting an implement etc. The pump on the right hand side of the block is somewhat square which I believe is a vane pump. Any ideas on what is causing this and is there someplace to purchase an OEM replacement pump or shop that rebuilds these. My tractor is 95% original and I would like to keep it as original as possible. I appreciate any advice or guidance. thank you
