It's pretty valuable if needed. Being genuine NOS in box is a BIG plus. They certainly are not being made anymore. Not only does it have mechanical value, it also has Collector value to the right person. Not to the 10 Cent crowd, but to the Serious collector who has appreciation for what it is, and has the means to aquire it. I'm sure there are more out there somewhere, but how many and how often do they surface ? It's my opinion that a NOS block in the Ford packaging, is in a league way above a 68+ year old worn, stressed, gunky, rusty, and possibly cracked example that could need several hundred dollars worth of machine shop work to be usable.
