A good friend, Charlie Hardesty from the F/FCA has one. Robert Pripps and Randy Leffingwell have pictures and a little text in their Ford Tractor books. Here is the only ad known for the Tractor Stilts Robert Pripps has. The text and adjoining photo are of the late Dwight Emstrom’s 1952 8N HI-CROP, with 11 x 40 rears and a 7” clearance. Mr. Leffingwell has a photo of a 1944 2N with similar rears. There were a few aftermarket companies making them in this style. He also has photos of an 850, 950, and a Ferguson 35. HI-CROPs and STILTS were used in the south a lot for rice and cotton fields as well as spraying.
