I have one just like it. Yes it is powered by a flat belt from the tractor. You need a belt pulley attachment that goes on the pto to run it. They are handy to cut up limbwood size wood, that being said I havent used mine in years. I find it is easier to just cut up the smaller stuff with a chain saw as I cut wood.
