If I were in your shoes, I would do this.
With the upper rad hose removed, I would remove the lower rad hose and rig up some sort of adapter to mount a garden hose to the water pump water inlet.
Might be able to find a rubber plumbing coupler that would work, or wrap it up and clamp it with something like old inner tube.
Turn on your hose full blast, and let it flush everything out.
Maybe start it for a minute so the water pump can add a little water pressure as well.
