A friend of mine has this 1944 2N (he thought it was a 9N). The serial number is 9N132008, so from that at least the engine block is a 1944. Anyways I'll probably end up buying it. He did a lot of work to it, new bushings, new fuel tank, new wiring, one new rear rim, and a host of other things. It runs really good, shifts in to all the gears correctly, the 3 point seems to work properly. One thing though is I would like to get the gear shift starter working (it's there, but not hooked up). There is a push button switch on the dash where I'm thinking the light switch should go. Question, how hard is it to get the gear shift starter switch working again, and/or replaced?
