NO! Only one light switch. You need the newer aftermarket Voltage Regulator in order to mount the plate onto. The template for the LH dash near AMMETER was in the original lighting kit. OEM VR was the AUTO-LITE unit. Wiring on the 8N was two headlights and one taillight with the Implement Lamp (Worklight) a later option. They were wired together so when you pulled the light switch 'ON' all three lamps were illuminated. The Worklight has its own ON/OFF switch. The Taillight was mounted on the LH side of fender. This was a Federal Law that for highway use, the tractor had to be seen on the left as viewed from the rear. The kit included a license plate bracket too as some states required the tractor to be registered and licensed as well. The Taillight had a red lens. On the top was a smaller clear lens to illuminate the license plate. Lighting kits were always dealer optional accessories. The doglegs and fenders had punch-outs to knock out when you wanted to mount lights. Taillight mounted on LH fender er the law, optional worklight was mounted on RH fender bracket, but could also mount on LH fender bracket along with taillight. All OEM Manuals I've seen have worklight on RH side. It makes sense so you had easy access to the leveling crank. The wiring harnesses Dennis Carpenter makes and sells have one that runs only to the LH fender and one that will "Y" off so you can run one to the RH fender. I have all the Ford Tractor original lighting diagrams that came with kits –see scan below. They are 17 x 22 in size, so too big to scan here and post.
