There is what appears to be a red idiot light to the lower left of the instrument panel, below a vacant hole that I think was the fuel gage. This light is not there on my 640 or my MIL's 860.
There is also a vacant hole on the left side of the instrument panel sheetmetal. It is on the side, not on top, above the light switch. It has a flared "boss" in the sheetmetal and it looks to me the size for an ignition switch. The ign. switch is on the other side though like my 640. I seem to remember the SOS having some engagement lever or control cable going thru the R.S. sheetmetal. Am I on the right track in thinking it was a SOS replaced with a 5 speed as mentioned by a previous poster?
