Oil leak from Differential-49'8N

When I would install my belt pulley for my cordwood saw, the lower right bolt hole would let oil run out when I removed it. I would reinstall the bolt and the leak would stop. Now it continues to leak a small amount, even with the bolt in. I assume the PO had put a too long bolt in at one time. What is the best way to plug the hole??
