Hey Steve I hope you dont have the problem Ive been having with my 12 alt. had bought a new one and it didnt last very long before it all of sudden it went to charging at full rate like 60amps or 18to 19 volts I took it back to the parts store and had it tested charging way to much so they give me a nether one oh these are rebuld ones , took the next one home put it on and lasted about 6 or 8 starts and did the same thing I checked all my wiring and Ok it on my 53 jub so I hope this one lasted longer this time or I will be going to a different parts store where I can get a new one instead of a rebuild on.
