I have a problem with my side mount distributor. I had some Ignition problems crop up, I was driving and it stopped, no spark. Decided to replace everything ignition wise as I was unsure of what had been done to it in the past. I replaced,; Plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, condensor. coil and all the wiring. Turned it over and nothing. I took the distributor cap off and the rotor fell out in 3 pieces. I had mail ordered the tune up kit and thought maybe I got the wrong distributor cap by mistake so I went to tractor supply and bought another rotor and cap. Put it on and same exact thing. So I bought another rotor and put the old cap back on, it works fine. That cap is not going to last forever. What do I do?
