Fuel bowl assembly - 600/800 versus 601/801

Was the glass settling bowl used on the fuel bowl assembly for 601/801 series and later Ford engines smaller than on NAA/600/800 and earlier engines? The fuel bowl attaches directly to the carburetor and the fuel line connects to it. I bought one recently to use on my 860. The glass bowl is slightly smaller and longer. The standard (?) size gasket and filter screen used on the 860 (same as used on the NAA and 8N) are too large. The unit I purchased was supposed to be off an 801. Is there a source for the smaller filter screen and gasket? I have wondered if the part is for another make/model tractor. It fits fine except no replacements for the smaller fuel bowl. Thanks for any help.
