Really?? Pat Boone??? Boone was a 'pop' star, not a rock star. Although I respect Mr. Boone's politics and religious beliefs, he only did covers of rock songs -songs that were written and/or performed by others before. He never wrote much of anything, let alone rock n' roll. Yes he was popular in the 50's second to only Elvis, but, mainly because white mainstream American parents wouldn't allow their kids to listen to the black artists' original versions.
