Pulled out a couple of rifles to do a little target shooting last weekend. No paper, but some 8" steel targets. I've had the steel plates for a few years, mostly for pistol at short range(10-30 yds)but also for rifle at 50-90 yds. I guess up to now I've shot them with .22, .38, 357mag, .223, & 5.56.......all without a single dimple.
1st time I've seen any damage on the plates. Can't remember hitting them w/ 30-30 or 300blk before, so one or the other must hit too hard for AR500....or, the plates aren't as advertised.
