I have been messing with a lot of electrical connections lately while hooking up some solar collectors, controllers and batteries.
I was making a bunch of jumper wires with alligator clips and came across the 6 volt test light that Farmer Dan made for me years ago.
Farmer Dan, you had soldered the clips on the test light with just the smallest dab of solder and they have held and worked great for years.
Since I had just been doing a bunch of soldering my self, I noticed that my connections were not nearly as clean and neat.
This gave me an idea. Tool Topic Tips. We could use the Tools forum for folks to post tips on using tools like soldering or plumbing or electrical connections.
I would love to see some simple how to tips on soldering from folks like Farmer Dan.
What do you guys think?? thanks
