Everybody has their tractors maintained and running smoothly with no problems therefore no questions. Just kidding of course. 20 years ago there was a resurgence in popularity with the advent of tractor sites on the internet. We could all share information and realize how handy these old tractors can be. We found them, fixed them, used them, collected them, and showed them. We also got older and most of us dont use our tractors daily or earn our living with them. Some of us found more modern tractors for our more important chores. Sadly, we may be the last generation with memories of using tractors from this era on a daily basis. Our old tractors have transitioned from necessary, to useful, to collectable and a hobby, to a faithful old friend waiting for that moment when we decide to fire them up for whatever reason. There has also been an insurgence of compact diesels that have overtaken the jobs of a small handy tractor for the rural homeowner. Time marches on, all we can do is enjoy our old Fords as long as we want to. The hobby has cooled off and is not the hotbed of activity it used to be. Happy tractoring.
