You gotta look at the numbers. The daily reports show KNOWN new cases. They find this out mostly by testing. Now that there are many sites for testing, naturally more people will be tested, but WHO is most likely to be tested? The people with symptoms or who think that they have been espoused. Thus the test results are not a true representation of the actual world, not a random sampling. what the numbers show is that there are a lot of asymptomatic cases.
